30 Days/30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Happy Halloween! Leave some candy
for the kids. :)
Day 20 message: The benefits of laughter: Relaxes the whole body,
Boosts
the immune system, Releases feel-good endorphins, Improves blood vessel
function. These are just
a few of the great benefits of laughter so
please share the funny stuff.
Why did the skeleton go to the
party alone?
Because he had "no body"
to go with. :)
Have a wonderful day and see you
later,
Mike Guardiola

Fit Friends,
Day 19 message: I got an email with a great message that I would like to share.
Here it is: A good life is just a string of good years, a good year is just a string of good weeks, a good week is just
a string of good days. Stay strong with your goals and make this a good day.
Much Success,
Mike Guardiola

Fit Friends,
Day 18 message: “Beyond the very extreme of fatigue and distress, we may
find amounts of power we never dreamed ourselves to own, sources of strength never taxed at all because we never push through

Fit Friends,
Day 17 message: Congratulations on whatever goal/goals you have
accomplished
thus far. I know if you're are following the Mike's Creative
Fitness that you have sticktoitiveness.
We encourage, inspire and
motivate here, and I'm happy that you chose to keep reading. You are
truly part
of the MCF Family and this is a message recognizing your
sticktoitiveness. How'd you like that word. :)
You remind me of an
analogy about the postage stamp. The postage stamp sticks to its job
until that letter
is delivered. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Much Success, and remember when going gets tough be like
the stamp.
From the bottom of my heart, THANKS!

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Day 16 Message: Adventure! We
all would like to get up and take a neat vacation, Cozumel, Bahamas, Pyramids in Mexico, a New York Museum trip, etc...
I'll let you fill in the blanks. Here's a fun little mind training technique. Take three minutes right
now to close your eyes and imagine yourself in your dream adventure. Take in the sights and sounds. Really try
and imagine it. This is easy to do and it trains your brain muscles to imagine and attain any goal you set for
yourself. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. I'll share mine with you.
I close my eyes and imagine myself on a bustling street corner. The cool fall breeze whips
across my face, I smell hot dogs, I hear honking, whoa someone almost bumps into me, I button my coat then look behind me.
Wow, there's the New York Museum of Modern Art. I walk up the street to the entrance and as I walk into a grand
foyer of the museum I see a huge Picasso. Wow, I'm on my New York Museum adventure. It's that simple.
OK, your turn.
P.S. You can do this with any of your goals.
Peace
and Joy,
Mike Guardiola

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Day 15! Half way point. I hope all of you are crushing your goals. I've
been getting a lot of feedback, and I truly appreciate it.
Day 15 Message:
My clients, past and present, have all heard me talk about my Finish Strong Philosophy. Here it is. When I have
someone do 10 reps for example. If they are spent and can only crank out 6 reps. most of the time their form is starting
to suffer as well. I have them stop, but I don't let them quit. They take a small breather and pick the weight
up again and finish the last 4 reps with strength and form. This produces a Finish not only on the body, but in the
mind as well. This is how our goals are in life sometimes. We may get lazy and not complete all the steps to achieving
a goal/goals. This is where the Finish Strong philosophy kicks in. Stop and take a breather. Then pick up
your goal again with strong form, and finish.
FINISH STRONG today!
Much Success,
Mike Guardiola

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Day 14 message: Wow, 14 days. Almost half-way
through the 30 days/30 ways. Even if there is one nagging goal that you keep working on, that's OK. Here's
a quote I found for today: "Success is a journey, not a destination. Make sure you enjoy the trip."
~former Apple CEO John Sculley.
Really enjoy the healthy lifestyle you are taking on. The best way I've
found is to start educating myself about something I am trying to tackle. This can make for a neat and fruitful journey.
Much Success,
Mike Guardiola

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
I hope all of you are doing great this morning. Just got done with a Sat. Morning Bootcamp.
Everyone did great! This is a truly motivating way to start the day.
Day 13 Message: When we push that extra mile and finally get to the end of the rainbow sometimes we don't
find or get what we expect. This is where the true test begins. If we keep doing the right thing regardless of
the outcome. We will eventually find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Much Success.
Peace
and Joy,
Mike

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Day 12 message: This comes from a story I read of a
student and a Master. They shared a cup of tea together and the student finished quickly and went to share with others
how wonderful the taste was. He shared how awful past teas had been and how the taste of this one was the best he had
ever tasted. The Master later told the student to enjoy the real cup of tea being served, for only this is true, and
past tastes and future cravings for the great tea are not real.
Be in the Moment.
What has happened has already happened and what will happen has not happened. It sounds to easy, but the silliest things
are almost always the most true. The past is not our story of today and the future is not our story for today.
Our true story is now, at present, are we taking full advantage of the moment.
Have a great evening!
Mike

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Day 11 Message: Take what you believe to be one
of your more difficult goals. Now believe that it is only a small obstacle to success. Believe that it is possible
and not that difficult. Rededicate yourself to this goal over and over no matter what. Some of life's most
notable successes are those who rededicated themselves to their purpose. If you fall, fall forward.
Abraham Lincoln - Failure as a soldier, businessman and politician.
Henry Ford -Went broke five times
before he gained success.
Michael Jordan - Cut from his high school basketball team.
Have an awesome
day!

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Hello Fit Friends,
Day 10 Message: Some goals just do not seem to
be happening or they seem daunting. This is where Faith kicks in. This 5 letter word carries so much power.
Faith allows us to take the next step or stop something cold turkey. Faith is there and everyone finds it in different
places, but we all root it in our hearts. Let your Faith guide you boldly wherever it is you want to go.
Have a good night,
Mike Guardiola

Fit Friends,
Day 9 message:

Fit Friends,
Day 8 Message: Take one of your goals for today
and make your own philosophy or beliefs the cornerstone of this goal. Like a kite that flies higher and higher against
gusts of wind, its cornerstone or base is rooted solidly. Your goals can weather any storm if rooted firmly in a strong philosophy.
Attach your philosophy and success is yours. Nothing can stop you.
Have a great day!

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Fit Friends,
Keep on banging through those goals. One of mine is keeping a cleaner house. This could
be the reason I posted so late, I apologize, but the house is clean now. :)
Day 7 message:
Health Goals can also come in the form of a good deed. example: neighborhood cleanup, cutting someones grass, helping
move stuff, etc. The positive effect a good deed has on the person giving long endures after it has been forgotten by
the recipient. This positive energy will only bring you a much deserved success. Let me know if you have a fun and giving
health goal. I like the feedback.
Sincerely,
Mike Guardiola

Day 6 message: "Fortune Sides with Him/Her Who Dares" , Roman Poet Virgil.
Your 30
day goals should be the attainable and realistic goals, but where you Dare is on the long-term goals. Make the long-term
goals far exceed your expectations and capabilities. This keeps in a mode of continuous improvement.
Much Success,
Mike

30 Days/ 30 Ways
I hope all is going well. I have the Day 5 message and a Friday Fit tip.
Fit Tip: Look
at those fruit juice labels. Most fruit juices have added sugar that ends up getting stored as fat. Some of it
is stored in the muscles and liver and any unused is stored as fat throughout the body. Don't drink away your calories.
Day 5 message: Have FUN with everything you do today. Take a goal and have super FUN
with it or just make the whole day a game. When I'm trying to do more cardio I bound up the stairs at work.
When I'm trying to drink more water I fill up two or three water bottles and leave them in random places at home or in
the office this way it's always in front of me somewhere. Use your imagination. Email me if you have a good
Fun way to reach your goal. I enjoy the feedback.
Have a great day!
Much Success,
Mike Guardiola

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Here's the Day 4 message:
Act as if the goal you set set for today has already been accomplished. Act
as if you are already there. Imagine the feeling of success this will bring once you have accomplished your goal/goals.
This will speed up your progress.
Much Success,
Mike Guardiola

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Here's the Day 3 message:
In order to really key in on our goals and make them happen we
have to take pride in each and every one of them. Take pride in all your actions today, look for better and different
ways to carry out routine tasks, and give yourself a pat on the back when you do something especially well.
Much
Success,
Mike G.

30 Days/ 30 Ways
Here's the message for Day 2.
Belief
Today's challenge:
Believe you can do something even when others say it is impossible. We can bring into physical form the things we think
about most. The greater the effort and the more we concentrate on something the more likely we are to make it happen.
Much Success,
Mike G.

30 Days/ 30 Ways
30 Days, 30 Ways healthier.
Do something healthy for yourself each day for thirty days and in 30 days
you will be 30 times healthier. This is a concept that I learned from a good friend and fitness Superstar, John Basedow,
Author of the book FITNESS MADE SIMPLE: The Power To Change Your Body - The Power To Change Your Life. These are some the things that have made up my personal past 30 Days/30 Ways self challenges. So, if you want
to take the challenge, for the next thirty days I'll be posting tips and challenges to this blog and sending emails to
all those on my Newsletter Maillist. Everyone's goals are different and if it's one thing that you are going
to do more of each day that's fine too. My blogs and emails are here to challenge and motivate.
Put
it in writing, put it in the mind. This has worked every time for me. While I was looking through some old files a few
weeks back I ran into a sheet of paper with goals scribbled all over it. This was a goal sheet from 5 years ago.
I had filed it away, but little did I know I was filing these goals away in my mind also. I wrote down at least 20 goals
on this sheet of paper, some loftier than others, but half are 100% accomplished and the other ten are really close.
I use a different strategy now. First of all I don't file and forget. I remind myself constantly of my goals
and I keep an on going list.
Day 1: Take out a sheet of paper and write down all
the things that you want to accomplish health wise. Once you have them down, write down on another sheet of paper things
you will do each day to accomplish this healthier you. The goals can be anything from drinking an extra glass of water
a day to joining a gym. Whatever it is write it down and give the mind a little help in filing it, but don't do
like I did- make sure you keep this file active. This will be an exciting 30 Days. Much success and keep an eye
out for Day 2. Email with any questions.
Much Success,
Mike G.
