Tons of sweat, calories and fat burning
Good day my friends! There has been tons of sweat, calories and fat burning going on since I last posted. I
have different groups of people and individuals that workout here at MCF and each and eery one of them has inspired me.
They all dig down deep and push through reps and sets. One thing that they all do is finish strong. This spirit
and desire I see in them is what I enjoy about training. I see people who have chosen to make real changes and not just
sit back on the sidelines. I am committed to challenging them and helping them achieve their goals. Much
Success, Mike Guardiola

Never Miss Breakfast Again
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to eat breakfast sometimes. The alarm goes off and you gotta
get ready for work, feed your family, make sure you have your work keys, etc...oh yes, and eat breakfast. It seems that
either we are in a hurry or just not hungry in the morning. Several clients and friends have expressed this concern,
because after all breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is where you get
about one quarter of your daily nutrient needs for the day. Also, breakfast is brain food. The brain's primary
source of energy is blood sugar and after fasting during sleep for eight to ten hours there goes your brain fuel. Thus,
increasing irritability and decreasing learning potential. Let's not forget the weight loss benefits of eating breakfast.
A balanced breakfast containing carbohydrate, protein and fat gets your metabolism working early. Time release energy
stores keep you from feeling super hungry midday. It's not that hard to get a quick healthy breakfast
fix by just by starting out with smaller lighter meals, using instant cereals, smoothies with whey protein powder and fruit,
or even eating leftovers. What we've found is the easiest, most effective way to start eating breakfast and never
skip is to keep all the pieces readily available, keep pre-cooked food in the fridge, and make it the priority because it
is so basic, almost too easy. By employing these three basic things my wife and I have maintained healthy weights for
eight years running. Keep all the pieces readily available. I enjoy eggs with veggies in the
morning, so I leave a clean pan on the stove at night and keep chopped bell pepper and onions in the fridge. I get to
the kitchen and it's like the breakfast fairy already got me started. Keep pre-cooked food in the fridge.
Different left over meats can be used in your breakfast, pre-cooked oatmeal is super easy, hard boiled eggs, and most anything
you might like to eat. Just pre-cook it. Also, included in this is good healthy breakfast bars if you are on the
run, but don't make this a habit, only use them in dire situations. Make it the priority.
If it is a choice between putting my contacts in or eating breakfast I eat breakfast. My point is the benefits of a
breakfast far out weigh the other stuff that comes secondary after the, must do important stuff. So if breakfast falls
into that secondary stage of things to do in the morning put it at the front of your list. Remember
there is hope. You can start out your day with breakfast by employing some of these tips, and for sure try out my three
basics where I've trimmed the fat with personal breakfast success. You will be well on your way to never skipping
breakfast again. Much success to all!
