Pizza Night

Good ole pizza night.  We had guests over for the famous pizza.  Well, famous on this site.  

It was a chance for them to enjoy and also see how a super healthy pizza can be made to really taste like PIZZA.

Enough about the pizza.  This week was full of hard work and sweat.  To all those that came out to my front yard assaults, thank you and keep up the great work.  

Next week, weather permitting, we will be pulling sleds and lifting stones.

Tuesday Tonnage

As y'all know alot of Mike's training is done outdoors.  Well, it's been raining off and on for the past two days and we might get some more.

This is where we have to improvise and find a place to tear it up.  Passersby on my street got to see us throwing heavy bags and swinging sledge hammers in my front yard.  We moved alot weight and scared alot of people.  Be Scary!

This gets results hands down!

BUT
BUT, BUT, BUT... This simple three letter word holds so much power.  When we want to attain a goal; lose weight, eat better, etc..  What is one of the first things we say?  “BUT”

That little voice saying, “BUT I don’t have time, BUT I can’t give up doughnuts, BUT I can’t run”.  That little voice is a part of us that is holding on to a false story of ourselves.  Our true story is NOW.  We make our story everyday that we wake up and live a new day. 

Don’t let BUT get in the way of your goal.  Conquering BUT in Health & Fitness goals will also spill over into other areas where BUT is setting up roadblocks.  I have had my share of battles with BUT when it comes to Health & Fitness.  So call or email me so that I can truly help you conquer your BUT’s.

Desire, Action, Finish Strong

I met with a prospective Creative Fitness Success candidate this afternoon.  He has a true desire to make a change.  As a fitness coach I will do everything I can to help him realize his goal.  We share very similar philosophies and this will be key to our mutual success. 

He brought up the workout sequence from Rocky IV.  Rocky's opponent has all the latest high tech training equipment and Rocky uses hardcore hit the dirt style workouts.  This is truly inspiring and leaves only one option, FINISH STRONG!

Weight Loss!

My Success candidates have been to five sessions in two weeks and have lost 4 pounds each.  They both have increased strength and endurance as well.  Finishing Strong is part of their wiring and they push for success every time.  I will do everything as a fitness coach to help them go as far as they desire.

Mind, Body, Spirit

Tonight's workout will be a total Rope workout.  With two thick ropes we will run through a series of cardio and strength exercises.  

The mind will toughen, the body will be challenged and grow stronger, and the spirit will be energized in the moment.

The workout starts with a power yoga warmup and ends with a yoga cool down.

If the Glove Fits, Climb a Rope

This is a thank you to Kevin H..  Thanks for the cool gloves.  They will get used and there will be a lot of appreciative hands. :)

When we work out, ropes get pulled, the hands hit the dirt and the sweat is flying, and this is just the warm up. hahaha!  Come on out and check us out.  

Tonight is a full on strength and conditioning session.  Work out hard, work out smart and you will reap the benefits.

Wednesday Resistance Training

We had a good full body weight training session.  The weights were flying and the calories were burning.  The best part is that the fat burn kicks in after the session and sticks around 24 to 48 hours afterward.  

I can see a change in the mindset of my Success candidates. They are showing a more mindful approach toward their nutrition and exercise.  They finish their workouts strong and they support each other.  Again, this can only mean one thing. They will win.  I will do everything that I can to help them reach their goals.

Monday Workout

I'm proud of my two Success candidates.  They finished strong on every exercise; Kettlebell swinging, tire pulling, tire flipping and rope handling.

Finishing strong is going to be the key to their success.  This builds mental toughness.  Tough enough to take on any challenge.  

A great finish to my day as well.

Double Motivation

Two new Success candidates came out tonight.  This was a great first workout.  Two friends motivating each other.  Their dynamic was awesome.  This motivates me to help them Win.  I only see future success in weight loss, physical strength and strength of mind for these two.
