Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night

Wait a minute this is Texas...Dec. is bathing suit weather.
We had a cold front roll in around 6PM yesterday afternoon, and it brought with it rain and sleet. Four hours earlier
I saw people down by the river wearing bathing suits as if it were mid July or something. Central Texas is weird, but
cool that way.
The cold snap did not stop the workout. Gabe came over last night and tore it up!
I had him hit a Power Training session similar to the one I did the night before. Gabe finished strong and then left
before the sweat on his shirt could turn into ice. :)
We are due for another bout of cold weather tonight. So
for right now I guess I'll get out my swim trunks and hope for frozen roads and a day off work. hahaha!
Stay strong!

Power Training Tonight!
I'm about to hit a 45-50 min. power training workout. It should take longer, but I like to keep my rest times
down between sets. This increases the after burn of fat and also increases my work capacity with other workouts and
physical activities that I participate in.
Anyone wanting to experience these short, but intense workouts who
is willing to put forth every ounce of effort give me a call. These workouts have been tried and tested by me and I
have proven results in speed and power.
My wife and I have been training for a half-marathon. This and
my strength training can really drain the body. The increased cardio is sometimes seen as a muscle robber, but if you
feed the body the right fuel for the right training you will not see muscle loss. I have increased my calories, but
remain balanced in what I consume with regards to Protein, Carbs and fat.
Here's an example of Sunday
morning's breakfast. I had to take a bite out of my eggwhite sandwich.
I followed this with a snack 2hrs. later, a balanced lunch, another snack 2hrs. after lunch, a balanced dinner
and then a protein shake 2 hrs. before bed.
The cool thing about exercise, is that you can eat a ton of
food because you are going to use it! :)
Gotta go hit the weights! Until next time, Eat right, train hard
and you will be fit for life!

Thank You SHFD
I'm revved up right now. I just picked up a discarded fire hose from the South Hays Fire Department. I
have all kinds of workout ideas for the fire hose. I'll experiment on myself during tonight's workout.
I
hope those of you who found this site are having a great weekend and thanks again to SHFD.
Stay active, eat solid balanced
meals and you will stay fit and healthy.
Oh, before I end go to the Video Blogspot, Episode #3, for the latest idea
I have. It's going to get a lot of people in awesome shape for the New Year.
Much success to all,
Mike

Happy Friday!
It's going to be a cold one this weekend, but this will not stop the training. Mick and I will be out and about
town Sat. morning running a steady pace 8 mile run. So be looking out for a beautiful gal running around town with a
beanie wearing nut. Let us know if you would like to run with us. We would enjoy the company and there is safety
in numbers.
Find something active to do, and eat healthy well balanced meals for lifelong fitness. This
is the best kept secret.
Thank you to everyone taking the time to read my entries. Until next time.
Peace,
Mike

Good Morning!
As you can plainly see I have made a few changes to the site. I feel this new design is more successful in getting
my point across. This is what I love to do and I know what is needed to help others achieve health and fitness.
As I journey through life I will always keep health and fitness at my side.
If there is anyone out there reading
this blog in my area that has a church group or some kind of club that needs a fitness speaker at a club meeting let me know.
With the holidays here and the New Year a few solid tips can go a long way. I'm always glad to help.
I
wish all much success!

Good Morning
Just a quick good morning and thank you Thanks for reading my entries and checking out the videoblog. I took
a run this morning and had time to think about friends, family and the many blessings that I am immensely grateful for. These
thoughts bring me joy, so why not take a run and let the world stop for a few moments and visit with these wonderful thoughts.
Peace
and joy!
